Long Time No See

Oh boy, it has been awhile. We had a quasi-busy summer. Spent a little time in NH with family, hung out at other people's pools, and caught up on child-proofing the house. Harris is such a handful. He's one of those kids that in a roomful of toys will choose to climb on the table.

This was the summer of boo-boos. Rocky/Al had poison oak, then got something in his eye and so was given a tetanus shot which gave him a stiff neck for a couple of days. Sophie had a terrible rash that we think was the result of bug bites and the sunburn on top didn't help much. But Cassie wins the prize, for breaking her arm two weeks into summer camp. She's out of the sling and mending nicely. I passed my summer courses with straight A's and I can't believe classes start up again in 12 days. I'm still working on the quilt I planned to give Harris last Christmas. Add to that the reading I've been trying to do and the painting I plan on starting when the kids go back and I think we are looking at a busy fall.
